The house is in the heart of Broadstairs very close to the beach and the extensive variety of shops and cosmopolitan restaurants yet is situated within a quiet residential area.

The local British Rail station is a 2 minute taxi ride or 12 minute walk from the property.

About Broadstairs

A traditional seaside town having an enduring association with Charles Dickens that includes a Museum, Bleak House and Dickens festivals with locals in period dress.

During summer, weekly Fireworks, Donkeys and traditional Punch and Judy can all be enjoyed on Viking bay beach as can family shows at the Pavilion.

The resort also offers a traditional high street with a good variety of independent retailers, a delightful small cinema, a bandstand and a Crazy Golf course.

A lift provides easy access to the beach and a promenade offers pleasant walks to other adjacent pretty bays with clean beaches.

Dining out in Broadstairs caters for all tastes and budgets - traditional fish and chips, along with cockles, whelks and jellied eels can all be enjoyed as can English, Indian, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Greek, Spanish and Thai food at the many restaurants,  cafes and bars in the town.

Close by

Ramsgate with its lovely harbour can be reached via a 45 minute walk along cliff tops and through an attractive park.

Westwood Cross Shopping Centre featuring many household name shops is just a 10 minute drive or short bus journey away.

Pretty Kent villages (Chilham, Wingham and Sandwich ) are all within short driving distance. The cathedral city of Canterbury is just a 30km (25 mins) drive away or can be visited using the excellent bus service serving Broadstairs (pick up point is just 4 minutes walk from the property).
